Assuming the two new positions begin on August 10, 2009, the projected cost for the remainder of 2009 is approximately $931 (or $1,288 including fringe benefits). This incremental cost can be absorbed within the 2009 Human Resources Adopted Operating Budget via management of salary savings. The projected annualized cost is estimated at $2,421 (or $3,348 including fringe benefits).

Resolution that a new position of Administrative Clerk 1 in Compensation Group 17, Range 09 and a new position of Administrative Clerk 1 in Compensation Group 20, Range 09 in the permanent salary detail of the Human Resources Department budget are created and that a position of Clerk Typist 2 in Compensation Group 20, Range 6 and the position of Secretary 1 in Compensation Group 17, Range 10, in the permanent salary detail of the Human Resource Department budget are deleted upon filling the new positions of Administrative Clerk 1 on or about August 10, 2009, thereof.
