The budget amendment included in this Resolution increases the budget authority in the Rooftop Kiosk capital project by $100,000. This budget amendment is funded by a private donation.
Title
Amending the 2009 Monona Terrace Capital Budget to increase authorized funding by $100,000 for the Rooftop Kiosk Capital Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2007 Monona Terrace Capital Budget included construction of a Rooftop Kiosk to be funded by private donations and Room Tax; and
WHEREAS, Monona Terrace subsequently was gifted an additional $100,000 in private donation to use as a source of funds for an expanded Rooftop Kiosk project; and
WHEREAS, the request was not made to increase the budget authority by this amount in 2007;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Monona Terrace 2009 Capital Budget be amended to increase expenditure authority by $100,000 to be funded through private donation.
