Body
The Board of Public Works and the City Engineer having made reports of all proceedings in relation to the improvement of West Gilman Street Reconstruction Assessment District 2 - 2009 pursuant to a resolution of the Common Council, RES-08-00998, ID No. 12196, adopted 10/28/08, which resolution was adopted thereto, and the provisions of the Madison General Ordinances and the Wisconsin Statutes in such case made and provided, and the Common Council being fully advised.

The schedule of assessments has been approved for the West Gilman Street Reconstruction Assessment District 2 -2009 (ID File No. 13364, RES-09-00206 adopted 3/3/09).

The schedule of assessments includes an assessment to Braley House Condominium Association (0709-0144-2125-4). This assessment was incorrectly assigned and should be assigned to the 5 units as specified in the Declaration of Condominium Agreement :

0709-144-2901-8 Unit A 21%
0709-144-2902-6 Unit B 20%
0709-144-2903-4 Unit C 25%
0709-144-2904-2 Unit D 19%
0709-144-2905-0 Unit O 15%

BE IT RESOLVED:

1. That the sum assigned to each separate parcel, as indicated on the attached schedule of assessment, is hereby specially assessed upon each such parcel.
2. That the Common Council determines such special assessments to be reasonable.
3. That such work or improvement represents an exercise of the police power of the City of Madison.
4. That the revised Schedule of Assessments for the West Gilman Reconstruction Assessment District 2 - 2009 is hereby approved.
5. That the due date by which all such special assessments shall be paid in full is October 31st of the year in which it is billed, or,
6. That such special assessments shall be collected in fifteen (15) equal installments, with interest thereon at five (5%) percent per annum, except those sp...
