Accepting the annual report for Dane County Drainage District #27 for the year ending August 31, 2008.
Body
WHEREAS in April, 2008 the State Legislature amended reporting requirements for drainage districts within the State to require each district to file an annual report with the City Council and Plan Commission on each district under the Drainage District Board's jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS local units of government receiving the report shall consider it before making any zoning or planning decisions that may affect a drainage district that is located within its boundaries; and
WHEREAS the Dane County Drainage Board has submitted the attached annual report for Drainage District #27 for the 12-month period ending August 31, 2008; and
WHEREAS Drainage District #27 includes some lands annexed to the City from the Town of Blooming Grove and Town of Burke on the City's northeast side.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Madison Common Council hereby acknowledges and accepts the report of the Dane County Drainage Board for Drainage District #27.
