Fiscal Note
Funds are available in the Acct. Nos. listed on the attached, with the exception of $103,900 in expenditures relating to traffic signal insfrastructure. While no additional general obligation borrowing is required as proceeds are derived from special assessments, the Traffic Engineering 2009 adopted capital budget does not provide authority for this project. Therefore, an amendment to the Traffic Engineering capital budget is required to provide the appropriate budget authority.

Amending the 2009 adopted Traffic Engineering capital budget for Traffic Signal Infrastructure (project #7, Acc't No. 810417) to recognize an additional $103,900 in expenditures and offsetting revenues and awarding Public Works Contract No. 6290, Resurfacing 2009 - Utility Casting Repair, Adjusting & Curb & Gutter Repair Assessment District.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the 2009 adopted Traffic Engineering budget (project #7, "Traffic Signal Infrastructure", Acc't No. 810417), be amended as follows:
