Fiscal Note

Trapeze Software Group, Inc. is providing Metro Transit with the Trapeze Google Export product at no charge.  Should Metro discontinue paying maintenance fees for the Trapeze INFO products, the license and maintenance fees for the Google Export product would not exceed $26,000 for 2009.  Fees for subsequent years would be charged based on standard license and maintenance fees in effect at the time.  However, Metro Transit is currently and intends to indefinitely pay maintenance fees on the Trapeze INFO products that provide the trip planner application on Metro's Website.  No funding is included in the Metro budget for this product.

Body

WHEREAS the Trapeze Google Export product would automate retrieval of Trapeze information to interface with Google for trip planner purposes; and

WHEREAS, accepting the product would be at no charge to Metro;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to enter into an Agreement with Trapeze Software Group, Inc. to accept, at no charge, the Trapeze Google Export product.
