This change in the timing of excess sick leave payouts for eligible non-represented employees will result in a modest administrative efficiency for Payroll and Information Technology staff with no budgetary impact.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This amendment will make the paragraph's pay outs for non-represented employees consistent with similar provisions of the labor agreements. As now written, that payout is scheduled for the last pay period of the year.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Paragraph 3. entitled “Accumulation in Excess of One Hundred Fifty (150) Days” of Subdivision (e) entitled “Sick Leave Accumulation” of Subsection (6) entitled “Sick Leave Accumulation” of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
“3. Accumulation in Excess of One Hundred Fifty (150) Days. Employees earning sick leave in excess of one hundred fifty (150) days shall receive a cash sum equivalent to employee’s regular salary times the number of excess days which paymen...
