Title
Authorizing a declaration of change in use from City park land to public street right-of-way as part of the Hoepker Road reconstruction.
Body
WHEREAS, the Hoepker Road Reconstruction project is scheduled to commence in Spring 2009, from American Parkway to the East corporate limits, as Engineering Project Number 53W0424; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Reconstruction design includes approximately 1.25 acres along the northern edge of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Dane County Certified survey Map No. 6316; and
WHEREAS, the above cited Lots are a part of the City of Madison North-East Greenspace; and
WHEREAS, the City of Madison Engineering Division requests and recommends dedication of that portion of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 necessary to complete the Hoepker Road Reconstruction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the City of Madison hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Declaration of Change of Use of four parcels of to-be-determined size from lands under Park Division control to lands under Engineering division control that are needed for the reconstruction of the City of madison publid street, Hoepker Road. The size of the four parcels, in total, is not anticipated to exceed 1.25 acres.
