Funds from the sale of Parks equipment to be deposited in the 20089 Capital Budget in Acct CP60-78310-810404. 810609.

Title

SUBSTITUTE - To amend the 20089 Parks Division Capital Budget to include reimbursement from the trade-in and sale of Parks older equipment.

Body

In 2008 the Parks Division experienced revenues associated from the trade-in and sale of some of its older mowing equipment in the sum of $88,970.87.  Those revenues had not been included in the Parks Division 2008 Capital Budget.  The Parks Division is asking for the establishment of budget authority to apply those proceeds to its 20089 Capital Budget to offset purchases it needed to make to replace the old equipment.  By this Resolution, the Parks Division seeks to establish budget authority to amend the 20089 Capital Budget to allow it to receive the proceeds from the sale of its older equipment.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Parks Division be given budget authority to amend the 20089 Capital Budget in the sum of $88,970.87 as received from the sale of older equipment.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds to be deposited into Parks Division Capital Account CP60-78310-810404  810609 to be used for mowing equipment.
