PREAMBLE
This citywide program provides repairs, replacements and new installations of sidewalk and curb & gutter.
The City Engineer plans to award two contracts for the work in 2009 (one for concrete and miscellaneous work, another for sawcutting trip hazards).
NOW THERFOR BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications for Sidewalk and Curb & Gutter, Citywide Installation and Repair-2009 and Annual Sawcutting of Concrete Sidewalk and Incidental Work be and are hereby approved:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise for and receive bids for the required public works contracts.
