Preamble
The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) has contracted with the City of Madison Parks Division for several years for the use of Bowman and Goodman Fields and Elver, Olbrich, and Warner Parks for Madison School Community Recreation ("MSCR") adult softball and baseball programs.  MSCR wishes to continue this contractual relationship with the City whereby MMSD will pay all maintenance costs and permitting fees as well as provide adequate general liability insurance and a damage deposit for MSCR's non-exclusive use of City parkland.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into an agreement on behalf of the City with MSMD for MSCR's use of City parkland for 2009 adult baseball and softball programs.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this agreement may be renewed in writing for two additional one-year renewal terms upon terms and conditions mutually agreeable to the parties.
