Fiscal Note

Sufficient funds are available in the 2008 Operating Budget to fund the 3% current year compensation cost increase associated with this agreement.  An additional 3% increase for 2009 will be required in future year budgets.

Be it resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute a Labor Agreement  determined by an arbitrator's award in interest arbitration between the City of Madison and Dane County Municipal Employees Local 60, AFSCME, AFL-CIO for the period January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2009.
