To suspend the Class B Combination alcohol beverage license granted Mad City Restaurant Group, Inc., d/b/a Quinton’s Bar & Deli, 319 W. Gorham Street, Madison, WI 53703.
Body
WHEREAS, a complaint was filed by Assistant City Attorney Steven C. Brist alleging a single count of alcohol beverage violations at the premises known as Quinton’s Bar & Deli, 319 W. Gorham Street, Madison, Wisconsin and operated by the Mad City Restaurant Group, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sec. 38.10 of the Madison General Ordinances, Assistant City Attorney Steven C. Brist and Mad City Restaurant Group, d/b/a Quinton’s Bar & Deli, through their attorney, Rick Petri, entered into a post-hearing stipulation regarding disposition of the subject complaint. The disposition includes a three (3) day suspension of Quinton’s Bar & Deli’s Class B Combination Alcohol Beverage license; and
WHEREAS, the Alcohol License Review Committee (ALRC) conducted a hearing and thereafter received the stipulation of the parties, the ALRC issued an Order that recommended approval of the three (3) day suspension of Quinton’s Bar & Deli’s Class B Combination alcohol beverage license but imposed said suspension on different dates than that recommended in the Stipulation to wit, a suspension period beginning at 2:30 AM on Thursday, July 17, 2008 and ending at 2:30 AM on Sunday, July 20, 2008; and
WHEREAS, that during the period of suspension recommended in the ALRC Order Mad City Restaurant Group, d/b/a Quinton’s Bar & Deli will be able to operate its restaurant business; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council accepts the stipulation of the parties as that Stipulation is modified and amended by the Order of the Alcohol License Review Committee and hereby suspends the alcohol beverage license granted to Mad City Restaurant Group, for the premises known as Quinton’s Bar & Deli, beginning on 2:30 AM on Thursday, July 17, 2008 and ending at 2:30 A...
