Fiscal Note
Sufficient funds are available in the adopted 2008 Operating Budget to fund the 3% current year compensation cost increase associated with this agreement. An additional 3.0% wage increase which becomes effective in 2009 will be incorporated into future year budgets.

Adopting and confirming amendments to the Madison General Ordinances as set forth in attached Exhibit C pursuant to Sec. 66.0103, Wis. Stats. to provide salary increases for Compensation Groups 18, 19, 21 and 44, and Nonrepresented Hourly employees.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance adopts and confirms an Exhibit C which provides salary increases to various Nonrepresented Employees for Compensation Groups 18, 19, 21 and 44 and deletes an obsolete duplicative section for Compensation Group 21.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
All of Exhibit C amending Sections 3.54(1)(b), (i)1. & 2., (p) & repealing Section 3.54(1)(g) is hereby adopted in its entirety and confirmed in all respects.
Said Exhibit C is published in pamphlet form by direction of the Common Council of the City of Madison, in accordance with Section 66.0103, Wisconsin Statutes.
