Approving the Public Participation Process for Water Utility Facilities.

On January 2008 the Common Council adopted a resolution directing the preparation of a public participation process for new Water Utility facilities. That process has been drafted by Water Utility Staff using the Standard Operation Manual format. The process has been vetted by members of the public, including the Unit Well 3 Replacement Committee and the Reservoir Park Neighborhood residents.
On May 27, 2008 the Water Utility Board approved this procedure and recommended approval by the Common Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Participation Process for Water Utility facilities be and is hereby approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that future modifications to the Public Participation Process shall be submitted to and approved by the Water Utility Board and the Common Council.
