PREAMBLE

The City of Madison has installed sidewalks along W. Badger Road from Fish Hatchery Road to S. Park Street adjacent to all properties in the City of Madison.  There are several properties in the Town of Madison on W. Badger Road that currently do not have public sidewalk.  The Town of Madison has budgeted and scheduled the installation of the sidewalk along W. Badger Road for 2008.  The Town of Madison has requested that the City of Madison construct the sidewalk under contract # 6103, Sidewalk and Curb&Gutter, Citywide Installation & Repair-2008.  The sidewalk will be constructed at no cost to the City of Madison.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Town of Madison for the installation of sidewalk on W. Badger Road.
