Body
WHEREAS the 2008 Capital Budget includes $565,882 in funding for architectural and engineering consultant design services and interior improvements to the Madison Senior Center; and,
WHEREAS the total contract compensation for architectural and engineering services for Destree Design Architects, Inc. is $63.800, and,
WHEREAS Destree Design Architects, Inc'; located at 222 W Washington Ave, Suite 310, Madison, Wisconsin, has been selected through the "Request for Qualifications" process and the "Final Interview" process, and is the final selected candidate in accordance with Section 3/61 of the Madison General Ordinances, and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby authorizes Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with Destree Design Architects, Inc to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the interior improvements at the Madison Senior Center located on West Mifflin Street.
Fiscal Note
Design costs for the Senior Center remodeling project were included in the 2008 Adopted Capital Budget of Planning and Community and Economic Development (Project 33).
