PREAMBLE
 
The City of Madison shall be applying for an Urban Nonpoint Source & Stormwater Management Program Grant for the Wingra Creek Parkway Improvements-Phase 2 project. The grant funds requested, in the amount of $150,000, would provide funding for streambank restoration and installation of a water quality detention device along Wingra Creek, between Fish Hatchery Road and South Park Street.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Madison is hereby authorized to apply for and administer an Urban Nonpoint Source & Stormwater Management Program grant received from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for the Wingra Creek Parkway Improvements-Phase 2 Project.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute required agreements associated with the acceptance and administration of this grant.
Fiscal Note
Total grant amount of $150,000 requires an equal match from the City. Matching funds available in Account ESTM-58290-810268-00-53W0311. Project and bidding approval shall be by separate resolution.
