Fiscal Note
Under the terms of this labor agreement, affected employees would receive a 3.0% pay increase retroactive to January 1 of 2008. Total costs including benefits are estimated at $64,397, of which 64,397 * 44.771% = 28,831 would represent the City's share. Funding is available within the the 2008 Adopted Public Health Operating Budget. The employer's contribution toward employee health and hospital coverage will also be increased at a total estimated cost of $21,963, of which $21,963 * 44.771% = $9,833 would represent the City share. This cost will also be absorbed within the 2008 Public Health Operating Budget. The agreement also provides for a 3.0% pay increase in 2009. Total costs including benefits are estimated at $66,328, of which approximately $66,328 * 44.771% = $29,696 would represent the City's share. Related costs will be included within the 2009 Public Health Requested Operating Budget.
