Title
Amending the composition of the Room Tax Oversight (TOT) Committee and appointing Thomas Ziarnik to the alternate position.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Madison 2008 Operating Budget amendment #8 created the Room Tax Oversight (TOT) Committee; and
WHEREAS, the committee membership consists of a representative of the Common Council, Mayor's Office, Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau, Innkeepers Association, and Economic Development Commission; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that an alternate member be appointed to guarantee against lack of quorum or tie-vote situations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Thomas Ziarnik be appointed to serve as the alternate member.
