PREAMBLE
The City Engineer plans to award four contracts in 2008. Three of the contracts are included in this resolution: Resurfacing 2008 - Asphalt Paving, Contract 6097; Resurfacing 2008 - Grinding and Pulverizing, Contract 6099; and Resurfacing 2008 - Asphalt Base Patching and Base Patch Grinding, Contract 6199.
Curb and Gutter in Conjunction with Resurfacing - 2008 Assessment District, Contract 6098 will be presented in a separate resolution.
NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications for Resurfacing 2008 - Asphalt Paving, Contract 6097; Resurfacing 2008 - Grinding and Pulverizing, Contract 6099; and Resurfacing 2008 - Asphalt Base Patching and Base Patch Grinding, Contract 6199, be and are hereby approved:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise for and receive bids for the required public works contracts.
