No appropriation is required to enact this Ordinance. Funding for the positions is included in the 2008 adopted operating budgets of the Economic Development Division and the Community Development Division.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subdivision (g) of Subsection (1) of Section 3.54 entitled "Compensation Plan" of the Madison General Ordinance is amended by deleting the classification of Economic and Community Development Unit Director in Compensation Group 21, Range 19 and creating the classes of Economic Development Division Director and Community Development Division Director in Compensation Group 21, Range 18, thereof.
