Fiscal Note
Traffic Engineering has budgeted $70,000 in its 2008 operating budget (GN01-54985-574000) for contractual epoxy pavement markings.  It is anticipated that TE would receive the same funding level in the 2009 and 2010 operating budgets for contractual pavement markings (70,000 x 3 years= $210,000).  In addition, 2008 operating budget amendment no. 28 increased the TE's 2008 operating budget for pavement marking (GN01-54985-574000) by $25,000 (one year only).   
 
Lastly, it is anticipated that various City Engineering capital accounts will fund $20,000 in epoxy marking in each year of the contract (20,000 x 3 years= $60,000).  A total of $298,000 ($210,000+$25,000+$60,000) in contractual expenditure authority is requested for this three-year contract.

BE IT RESOLVED,
1)      That the plans and specifications for 2008-2010 Semi-Permanent Epoxy Pavement Marking be and are hereby approved.
 
2)      That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
 
3)      That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
