Relating to 2007-2008 Badger Bus Lines, Inc. Taxicab Operator License Application.
Body
WHEREAS, Badger Bus Lines, Inc. has applied for a taxicab operator licenses and 20 flat rate taxicab (vehicle) permits; and
WHEREAS, Badger Bus Lines is required to have a taxicab operator licenses as a condition of providing paratransit service for Madison Metro; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Traffic Engineering has completed a thorough investigation of Badger Bus Lines and concluded that the company meets eligibility criteria as listed under MGO 11.064 (b); and
WHEREAS, the Common Council approves Badger Bus Lines, Inc. application to operate taxicabs and approves its request for "flat rate" permits for 20 vehicles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Badger Bus Lines, Inc. is issued an operator's license and 20 flat rate permits, subject to the provisions and conditions as stated above and the ordinances of the City of Madison.
