Title
Establishing the dates of Common Council Meetings for 2008.
Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council by ordinance previously established the dates of meetings for the Common Council for 2008, and
WHEREAS, the Council is considering modifications to Chapter 2 of the Madison General Ordinances (Legistar ID 08071) which provides that meeting dates shall be set by resolution, and
WHEREAS, if those changes to Chapter 2 are adopted, the Council must reaffirm the dates previously adopted by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council establishes the following meeting dates for 2008:
January 8 and 22, February 5 and 26, March 4 and 18, April 8 and 22, May 6 and 20, June 3 and 17, July 1 and 15, August 5, September 2 and 16, October 7 and 28, November 11 (Budget), November 12 and 13 (if necessary for Budget), November 18 and December 2.
