This ordinance amendment would allow the use of funds accumulated in the Affordable Housing Trust Fuund to be used for Allied Drive area redevelopment activities as proposed in the 2008 Budget as recommended by the Board of Estimates.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subsection (10) entitled "Allied Drive Area Improvements" of Section 4.22 entitled "" of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:
"(10) Allied Drive Area Improvements.
Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Section, the Common Council may authorize, in the 2008 Capital Budget, the expenditure of funds from the Trust Fund Account for the construction of roads and other public infrastructure in the Allied Drive area."
