Federal Funds of up to $145,325 will be covered by the authorized agreements. There will be no City share with this grant.
This resolution also amends the 2008 Capital Budget to authorize additional expenditures to be reimbursed by this grant.

PREAMBLE
The City has received federal funds to construct a median pedestrian refuge island at the intersection of Mineral Point Road and Owen Drive. The project has been approved for federal funding covering 100% of the cost of design and construction. The City is eligible for reimbursement up to the maximum cap of $145,325.
This resolution increases the authorization for the 2008 Capital Budget of Neighborhood Traffic Management in the Engineering - Major Streets Budget by $145,325.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute agreements with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the design and construction of the Mineral Point Road at Owen Drive Intersection Improvement (53W0545).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2008 Capital Budget for Neighborhood Traffic Management be amended as follows:
