Landmark Nominations of June 18, 2007 Meeting.

The Landmarks Commission at its meeting of June 18, 2007 voted unanimously to recommend the designation as Landmarks of the following properties:
University of Wisconsin Armory and Gymnasium, 716 Langdon Street
One person spoke in favor of the nomination - Gary Brown, UW Facilities Planning Director speaking on behalf of the University, which owns the building.
University of Wisconsin Science Hall, 550 N. Park Street
One person spoke in favor of the nomination - Gary Brown, UW Facilities Planning Director speaking on behalf of the University, which owns the building.
Madison East High School, 2222 E. Washington Avenue
No one spoke at the public hearing. The school district has been informed and has not objected to the nomination.
Attached are copies of the nominations explaining how the properties meet the criteria for designation of a landmark in MG.O. Sec. 33.01(4)a. Also attached are the minutes of the June 18, 2007 Landmarks Commission meeting.
