Amending Section 1.08(3)(a) of the Madison General Ordinances to add bail deposit amounts for violation of Sections 12.1338 and 12.136.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance modifies the bail deposit schedule to conform to current practice. At the time Sections 12.1338 and 12.136 were created, the bail deposit amounts were not added to the schedule. Sponsorship of this ordinance by request of the City Attorney is made under the authority of Section 2.05(6)(i), M.G.O.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subdivision (a) of Subsection (3) entitled "Schedule of Deposits" of Section 1.08 entitled "Issuance of Citations for Violations of Certain Ordinances and Providing a Schedule of Cash Deposits" of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by adding therein the following:
"Offense Ord. No. Deposit
Overtime parking--15 minute
zone, 8 AM - 5 PM 12.1338 $20
(non-metered).
Overtime parking--1 hour zone,
misc. time periods 12.136 $20"
(non-metered).
