Fiscal Note
The salary and corresponding benefits for both the current Interim Director (through Sept. 24th) and the new Director (Sept 24th through year end) will be able to be accommodated within the amount budgeted for the Director's position in the 2007 HR Operating Budget. Additionally, the current Interim Director's vacation and sick leave pay out will be absorbed within HR's 2007 Operating Budget for Permanent Salaries and Benefits.

Confirming the appointment of Bradley J. Wirtz to the position of Human Resources Director subject to the approval and execution of a five-year employment agreement.
Body
Whereas, Mayor Cieslewicz has appointed Bradley J. Wirtz to the position of Human Resources Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
Whereas, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Wirtz;
Now, therefore, be it resolved that Mr. Wirtz's appointment to the position of Human Resources Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Wirtz.
