Creating new Subsection 8.18(6) and renumbering current Subsection (6) to Subsection (7) of the Madison General Ordinances to regulate parking at Quarry Park.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: The purpose of this ordinance is to limit and restrict parking in Quarry Park. This will allow more turn over in parking for patrons of Quarry Park and prohibit overnight parking.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. New Subsection (6) entitled "Parking Regulated at Quarry Park" of Section 8.18 entitled "Parking Regulated In Certain Parks" of the Madison General Ordinances is created to read as follows:
"(6) Parking Regulated at Quarry Park.
(a) No person shall park, stop or leave standing any vehicle along any roadway within Quarry Park, whether attended or unattended, for more than three (3) hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
(b) No person shall park, stop or leave standing any vehicle along any roadway within Quarry Park, whether attended or unattended, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m."
2. Current Subsection (6) entitled "Penalty" of Section 8.18 entitled "Parking Regulated In Certain Parks" of the Madison General Ordinances is renumbered to Subsection (7).
