Body
The City of Madison Fire Department has received notification from the State of Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance on the award of a grant for the Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) in the amount of $232,330. This grant covers preparing for response to Weapons of Mass Destruction and mass casualty incidents.
The grant covers the metropolitan area which includes all of Dane County. The grant budget is :

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council approves acceptance of the grant from the Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance for the MMRS program; and
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor, Clerk and other designated City officials are authorized to execute the award documents.
