Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an Amendment to the Agreement between the City and Organizacion Latina De Futbol, Inc. to require Organizacion Latina to schedule and designate a field marshal for Elver Park fields #3 and #4.
Body
WHEREAS, City and Organizacion Latina De Futbol, Inc. ("FUTBOL") entered into an Agreement whereby Futbol would maintain soccer fields at Elver Park in exchange for providing maintenance and soccer programming at Elver Park; and
WHEREAS, paragraph 4 of the Agreement allows the parties to make changes to the Agreement by written amendment; and
WHEREAS, there have been two (2) incidents resulting in altercations at Futbol's soccer games and the parties believe the use of a field marshal would be beneficial in addressing any future such incidents; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement to require Futbol to schedule and designate a field marshal who will be the first responder at Elver Park soccer field numbers 3 and 4 whenever Futbol uses Elver Park soccer fields 3 and 4 ;
WHEREAS, all other provisions of the Agreement remain the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into an Amendment to the Agreement between the City of Madison and Organizacion Latina De Futbol, Inc. ("FUTBOL") to require Futbol to schedule and designate a field marshal for Elver Park Soccer field numbers 3 and 4.
