Body
WHEREAS Public Health-Madison and Dane County has been conducting a program in West Nile Virus Mosquito Assessment and Control since 2002, and
 
WHEREAS expenses for the 2007 West Nile Virus program are being shared by the City of Madison, the Town of Madison, Village of Maple Bluff, City of Middleton, City of Monona, Village of Shorewood Hills, the City of Sun Prairie and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with costs allocated based on the services being provided in each area,
 
WHEREAS Public Health-Madison and Dane County has received an unanticipated grant of $9,500
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to enter into an agreement with the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services-Division of Public Health, Bureau of Communicable Diseases on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County for the purpose of West Nile Virus Assessment and Control for period April 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007.
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Health 2007 Adopted Operating Budget will be revised as follows:
 
General work supplies                   ($1,150)
Partner fees (reduction)       ($8,350)
Grant revenue (increase)        $9,500
