PREAMBLE:

The West Mifflin Street Reconstruction Assessment District - 2007 has been approved by the Board of Public Works and the Common Council.  Since then, the addition of curb bump outs was examined and recommended by the Traffic Engineering and Engineering Departments at the Bassett Street intersection.  Bump outs provide a more pedestrian friendly intersection by shortening the crosswalk and by physically prohibiting parking close to the intersection.

BE IT RESOLVED that the geometrics for the West Mifflin Street Reconstruction Assessment District - 2007 are re-approved.
