Title
Authorizing the City Engineer to enter into a State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for plan review for the County Highway M and Valley View Road Intersection. (9th AD)

PREAMBLE:
The City is proposing to construct a new street between the intersection of CTH M and Valley View Road and the intersection of existing Pleasant View Road and Mineral Point Road (CTH S). Design will be funded with 100% local funds and that portion of the project near the intersection of Valley View Road and CTH M will be funded with 80% federal funds, 20% local funds. Construction of the new street north to Mineral Point Road (CTH S) will be funded with 100% local funds.
The Wisconsin Department of transportation will be involved in review of the project as it pertains to County Highways. Since the design is funded with local funds, the city proposes to reimburse the WDOT for these review costs.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for state review of preliminary engineering services for CTH M/Valley View Road Intersection and Pleasant View Road from Prairie Hill Road to CTH S.
