On May 28, 2003 the City of Madison, MSA Professionals Services, Inc. and the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation entered in the Design Engineering Contract for the Milwaukee Street Bridge over the West Branch of the Starkweather Creek (Contract No. 5534) with the authority provided by Council Resolution No. 60455, ID No. 33831 adopted on April 15, 2003.
The Contract with MSA Professional Services, Inc. was for the preparation of plans and specifications for the Milwaukee Street Bridge over the West Branch of the Starkweather Creek.
This amendment is necessary for additional intersection design and coordination required due to the proposed Starkweather Creek bike path and additional modifications to the bridge design required due to changes in the Structures Design Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Amendment 2 to the present agreement between the City of Madison, MSA Professional Services, Inc. and the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the Milwaukee Street Bridge over the West Branch of the Starkweather Creek, Contract No. 5534 for additional engineering service.
