Honoring Cheryl Bremser and expressing appreciation upon her retirement from the City of Madison after 40 years of service to the City of Madison and its citizens.
Body
WHEREAS, Cheryl Bremser is retiring from Public Health-Madison and Dane County on March 23, 2007; and
 
WHEREAS, Cheryl began with the City of Madison on May 22, 1967, working with the Police Department and Department of Welfare; and
 
WHEREAS, she has worked for the last 21 years with the Madison Department of Public Health,
serving the City of Madison residents as receptionist; and
 
WHEREAS, in addition, Cheryl has served as primary support for the Animal Control Unit; and
 
WHEREAS, Cheryl has been a valuable asset to the Employee Assistance Program for the past 20 years (since the programs' inception) assisting fellow City employees; and
 
WHEREAS, throughout her many years of service, Cheryl's sense of duty and responsibility have earned the respect of those she works with and those she has served;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council express their appreciation for the dedication and service of Cheryl Bremser for 40 years; and,
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Common Council wish her a healthy and fulfilling retirement.
