Approving plans and specifications and authorizing the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for University Avenue Pavement Repairs - 2007, Contract No. 6014. (5th & 8th ADs)

PREAMBLE
The project consist of removing the existing concrete pavement in the bus lane and bike lane on University Avenue from Charter Street to Babcock Drive and replacing it with new concrete pavement.
Certain construction operations may require work during the evening hours. City Engineering will separately initiate a public notification to allow the contractor to work between the hours of 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for University Avenue Pavement Repairs - 2007, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
