The cost for the remainder of 2007 is approximately $1,506 (or $2,060, including benefits) and is not available in the Police Department budget. The Police Department expects to request an additional appropriation later in 2007, and the funding required for this reclassification will be included in that request. The projected annualized cost is $4,252 (or $5,817, including benefits) and will need to be included in future years' budgets. This reclassification was requested by the Police Department as a 2007 Supplemental Request, but it was not funded in the Executive or Adopted Operating Budget.
