Fiscal Note
Costs associated with this double-fill will be accommodated by the management of Streets Division salary savings. No additional appropriation is required. There is no anticipated impact upon the tax levy or cost controls.

Double-fill Authorization of Streets Operations Analyst.

WHEREAS, the incumbent Streets Operations Analyst is to be paid through March 30, 2007 and the new Streets Operations Analyst will be hired effective March 11, 2007 in order to facilitate an orderly transition of information and responsibility: and
WHEREAS, MO 3.35 (6) (B) states: "The Human Resources Director, with the approval of the Mayor and of the Common Council if the action requires the expenditure of more than $2,000 and/or is for longer than 30 days, is authorized to double-fill any position for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) calendar days unless such period is extended by action of the Common Council.
WHEREAS, the double-fill of the Streets Operations Analyst requires the expenditure of more than $2,000; and
WHEREAS, funding for this expenditure is available in the Streets Division 2007 Operating Budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the double-filling of the Streets Operations Analyst position is approved for the period of March 11, 2007 through March 30, 2007.
