Title
Approving a "minor" change to amend the environmental corridor within the Central Urban Service Area of Dane County for the Property of 4602 S. Biltmore Lane (aka 5202 Eastpark Blvd). (17th AD)
Body
4602 S. Biltmore Lane resides within the Central Urban Service Area and includes a 100 foot wide public easement for open drainage purposes. This easement constitutes an environmental corridor for drainage purposes. These types of corridors are typically 100 feet in width in the City of Madison, with a minimum standard width of 75 feet. The developer wishes to reduce the easement to the minimum required to better facilitate a proposed site plan design. The existing drainage way was essentially constructed to use only about 75 feet of the 100 foot easement, so reducing the easement (corridor) width shall have marginal impacts, if any.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED to hereby approve a "minor" change to amend the Environmental Corridor within the Urban Service Area of Dane County for the property of 4602 Biltmore Lane.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City is hereby authorized to release 25 feet of the present public drainage easement.
