PREAMBLE

The City is proposing to reconstruct the Lien Road, Zeier Road and Thompson Drive intersection.  The project also includes the reconstruction of a portion of Lien Road from Thompson Drive to I 39/90/94.  Construction is scheduled for 2008.  Pursuant to City Ordinances and Policies, the City Engineer advertised for consultant proposals, reviewed the submitted proposals, and recommends the design engineering contract be awarded to Short Elliot Hendrickson Inc.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED  that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Short Elliot Hendrickson Inc. for design engineering services for Lien Road.
