PREAMBLE

The City is proposing to construct a new street between the intersection of CTH M and Valley View Road and the intersection of existing Pleasant View Road and Mineral Point Road (CTH S). Design will be funded with 100% local funds and that portion of the project near the intersection of Valley View Road and CTH M will be funded with 80% federal funds, 20% local funds.  Construction of the new street north to Mineral Point Road (CTH S) will be funded with 100% local funds.

Pursuant to City Ordinances and Policies, the City Engineer advertised for consultant proposals, reviewed the submitted proposals, and recommends the design engineering contract be awarded to Owen Ayres & Associates, Inc.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED  that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Owen Ayres & Associates, Inc. for design engineering services for CTH M/Valley View Road Intersection and Pleasant View Road from Prairie Hill Road to CTH S.
