PREAMBLE
The City is proposing to reconstruct the intersection of Mineral Point Road (CTH S) and Junction Road / CTH M in 2011/2012. The consultant's services will include traffic modeling of current and future traffic volumes, the completion of preliminary plans and the Environmental Assessment. The project concept includes the potential for a new grade separated intersection at Mineral Point Road (CTH S) and Junction Road / CTH M.
Pursuant to City Ordinances and Policies, the City Engineer advertised for consultant proposals, reviewed the submitted proposals, and recommends the design engineering contract be awarded to HNTB Corporation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with HNTB Corporation for design engineering services for CTH S and Junction Road/CTH M.
