Funding is included in the Fire Department's 2007 Operating Budget.  

Title

Approving a contract with E. B. Jacobs, LLC for consultant services for the firefighter applicant process.

Body

The City requested proposals for a consultant for the firefighter applicant process (RP-7817-0-2006-RW). The recommendation is that the contract be awarded to  E. B. Jacobs, LLC.

Funding in the 2007 Operating budget approved $75,000 for a consultant for the process.  The City Attorney and Fire Chief are finalizing the terms of the contract with E. B. Jacobs, LLC.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City approve contracting with E. B. Jacobs, LLC  for the next firefighter applicant process, and

BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute the contract upon completion of the contract by the City Attorney and Fire Chief.
