Body

Preamble

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued a "General Permit to Discharge under the Wisconsin Pollutant Discharge Elimination System" to the Madison Sewer Utility (WPDES Permit No. WI-0047341-04-0).  Current permit expires on 12/31/2010.  Effective January 1, 2006, the compliance maintenance requirements of Ch. NR208, Wisconsin Administrative Code applies to the owners of sanitary sewer collection systems covered by a WPDES permit.  A Compliance Maintenance Annual Report (CMAR) shall be completed and submitted by June 30th of each year.  

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Common Council hereby accept the Compliance Maintenance Annual Report (CMAR) of the City Engineer for Operation and Maintenance of the Madison Sewer Utility.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer is directed to file this CMAR Report with the governing body of the WDNR by June 30, 2006.
