Title

Approving the preliminary concept of a roundabout on Edgewood Avenue for the project known as 1014 Edgewood Avenue and authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Developer, Private Contract No. 2103. (10th AD)

Body

WHEREAS, the developer, Edgewood, Inc., has received the City of Madison's approval to construct a dormitory and expand the existing parking lot, and,  

WHEREAS, the City of Madison is requiring dedication of right-of-way for the installation of a roundabout at a future date.  

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

1.      That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute an Agreement For 1014 Edgewood Avenue with Edgewood, Inc.

2.      That the preliminary concept of a roundabout on Edgewood Avenue at Jefferson Street is hereby approved.

3.      That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents as necessary and accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
