Fiscal Note

The associated contract provides for the City Assessor's initial yearly salary to be based upon an annualized rate of $84,000.  Funding for this position for the remainder of the current year is included in the 2006 Adopted Operating Budget.  No additional appropriation is required.

Submitting the name of Mark Hanson for confirmation of a five-year term as City Assessor.

Body

Whereas, Mayor Cieslewicz has appointed Mark Hanson to the position of City Assessor and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and

Whereas, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Hanson;

Now, therefore, be it resolved that Mr. Hanson's appointment to the position of City Assessor is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Hanson.
