Body
WHEREAS, the Common Council, by Resolution No. 12,459, adopted March 9, 1967, has established a general policy on street names and approves a master list of existing street names and designations for all purposes; and

WHEREAS, a copy of Resolution No. 12,459 is made part of this resolution; and

WHEREAS, Secs. 10.34(1) and 10.35, Madison General Ordinances, require the City Engineer to maintain certain street numbering maps; and

WHEREAS, the plat of Village at Autumn Lake, was recorded March 30, 2006 in Volume 59-005B of Plats, Pages 20-39, as Document No. 4175683, Dane County Registry; and

WHEREAS, said Village at Autumn Lake plat dedicated public streets known as Arial Spring Trail, Snowberry Street and Snowberry Court; and

WHEREAS, during final plat approval for Village at Autumn Lake, City Engineering requested proposed Arial Spring Trail street name be given a different name for either the north-south or east-west portion as platted; and

WHEREAS, general street name policy #4 from Resolution No. 12,459, adopted March 9, 1967 requires street name changes due to curvilinear changes in street geometry and the difficulty it presents to consistent house numbering; and

WHEREAS, Snowberry Street and Snowberry Court conflict with the existing City of Madison street name Snowberry Lane, which was dedicated in the plat of Linden Park on December 5, 2005; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, all that part of the street formerly known as "Arial Spring Trail" from the mid-point of the curve at Lots 1 and 39 east to ...
